Vitalia North Royalton Business Office Director Appreciates Community Employees

In today’s fast-paced world of healthcare, companies are increasingly realizing the importance of creating a positive workplace culture. Here at Vitalia North Royalton, we understand employee recognition is essential to achieving this culture.

Employee recognition is just as it sounds: recognizing and thanking employees for their hard work and effort. At Vitalia North Royalton, we show this appreciation in several ways. From social recognition, milestone awards, or our weekly creative follow-ups (CFUs), we always take a moment for our hard-working team members.

As the Business Office Director, I always promote employee appreciation. This past year, my favorite CFU was celebrating National Mac N’ Cheese Day at our monthly staff Town Hall. Our department heads joined a friendly competition to select the best cheesy dish. The judges were our wonderful line staff. Residents of our memory care neighborhood took home 1st place, while Plant Operations came in 2nd with a classic favorite, Kraft Mac N’ Cheese. Last but certainly not least, our Resident Services Director brought home the 3rd place win with “Campbell’s Cheesy Comfort” Mac N’ Cheese.

This is just one example of the many wonderful team members we have. We genuinely believe when done right, employee recognition creates a workplace culture that helps people thrive, promotes retention, and makes us a great place to work, which in turn makes us a great place to live.
