Memory Care Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering in the Vitalia North Royalton Memory Care Neighborhood can be an incredibly rewarding experience. Our Neighborhood caters to individuals living with many different types of dementia. Volunteers play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. From providing companionship to participating in stimulating events, the opportunities for volunteers are both meaningful and endless. Let’s delve into the various types of events you, as a volunteer, can be a part of within our Memory Care Neighborhood.  

Volunteers can contribute to our Neighborhood in various ways:

• Providing one-on-one engagement with residents who may be struggling to adjust.
• Assisting with crafts.
• Facilitating music events using instruments.
• Engaging in group activities through the Life Loop system (IN2L).
• Helping with gardening, ice cream socials, and courtyard events.
• Participating in men’s and women’s clubs, as well as cooking clubs.

Volunteers are also welcome to propose their own ideas, pending approval and suitability.

Volunteering in Memory Care offers numerous benefits, including opportunities to communicate on different levels. It’s a profoundly humanistic approach to providing genuine, personalized care.
